Cafe Au Lait Dahlia Plant

$20.00

Cafe au Lait is a dinnerplate dahlia with large, light pink blooms and long stems that are ideal for cutting. Grown from a tuber and sold as an established plant, it does best in full sun (6–8+ hours) with rich, well-drained soil—adding compost at planting time helps a lot. Plant it out after the risk of frost has passed, space plants about 18–24 inches apart, and water deeply and consistently once it’s actively growing (especially when buds form), without letting the soil stay soggy. Because the plants get tall and the blooms are heavy, staking early is recommended, and regular cutting or deadheading will keep flowers coming through late summer into fall. Ready for pickup at our annual plant sale in June.
